Mimosa
A light and elegant brunch cocktail made with sparkling wine and fresh orange juice.

Ingredients
- Sparkling Wine (Champagne or Prosecco) 3 oz (90ml)
- Fresh Orange Juice 3 oz (90ml)
- Orange Twist For garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Fill a champagne flute halfway with fresh orange juice.
- Slowly top up with sparkling wine to preserve the bubbles.
- Gently stir, if needed.
- Garnish with an orange twist (optional).
History & Origins
The Mimosa was created in 1925 at the Ritz Hotel in Paris by bartender Frank Meier. Inspired by the British Buck’s Fizz, which had a higher ratio of champagne, the Mimosa became a brunch staple worldwide. Its light and refreshing taste makes it a favorite for celebrations and morning gatherings.
