History & Origins

The Cosmopolitan gained popularity in the 1990s, thanks to its association with the TV show "Sex and the City." However, the drink's origins can be traced back to the 1970s. It was first created by bartender Neal Murray in San Francisco, who is credited with combining vodka, triple sec, cranberry juice, and lime juice to create the signature cocktail. Over time, it became a symbol of sophistication and a staple in cocktail culture.
